Calling from a mobile phone

You can use Dial Smart from your mobile phone too - giving you massive savings compared to international mobile tariffs.

With some mobile tariffs, calls to 0871 and 0844 numbers are bundled with your free minutes package! To find out the cost of calling from a UK mobile, please confirm the rates directly with your service provider.

When you call from a mobile, remember to only press the call or send button after dialing the access number but not again after dialing the destination number.

Programme the process into your mobile for total hassle-free calling as follows.

Simply add a pause between the access number and the international number you wish to dial. For example, if you wish to call your friend Mark in New Zealand, create a new entry called 'Mark' in your mobile's phone book and enter the number as follows.

1. Enter the Dial Smart access number i.e. 0844 431 2174

2. Enter a 'Pause' - this is done as follows depending on your brand of mobile:

Nokia A 'p' should appear after * has been pressed 3 times, i.e. 0844 431 2174 (*** will show a 'p')

Siemens / Panasonic A '+' should appear after 0 has been pressed and held.

Motorola / Ericsson / Sony A 'p' should appear after * has been pressed and held.

3. Now enter your international destination number in full including 00 and save.

That's it - next time you want to call 'Mark' using Dial Smart, simply find Mark in your memory and press call!
